An entertaining story about a young boy who's convinced that monsters do exist, and it's actually true. When rescued by a pressumed pest exterminator, the boy discovers that he is in fact a professional monster hunter, sworn to protect the kids in town from the nasty monsters under their beds and in their closets. The duo team up to foil the monsters' fiendish plot to reclaim their former glory of reeking havoc on children.

Realizing the seriousness of their predicament, the gang knows they must track down the killer, before he/she/it/they completely kill off Mr. Bixby.

While filled with action and comedy, the show also addresses safety in the streets, including riding bikes, helmets, crosswalks, and street signs, for educational purposes.
